The electrical wiring and interconnection systems business for the aviation industry based in Querétaro, Mexico, owned by Latecoere (PAR: LAT), was acquired by Bombardier (TSE: BBD.B) for an undisclosed amount.

Mexico's EVM Energía, the operator of an electric power generation company based in Mexico City, was acquired by Valia Energía for an undisclosed amount.

Mexico's GestoPago, an alternative payment-systems provider for convenience stores based in Mexico City, was acquired by Puntored for an undisclosed amount.

Mexico's Promociones Turísticas, a holding operator serving the tourism and real-estate sectors based in Mexico City, was acquired by Real Estate Developer Group for an undisclosed amount.

Mexico's Insignia Life, a life-insurance services provider based in Mexico City, was acquired by Mapfre (MAD: MAP) (a subsidiary of SARquavitae) for MXN $2,337.00 million.

Mexico's KristaFilms, a packaging-film manufacturer based in Apodaca, Nuevo León, was acquired by Oben Group for an undisclosed amount.

A stake in Netherlands-based Zero Carb Company, a bakery company dedicated to offering a wide range of gluten- and carbohydrate-free bread based in Wageningen, owned by Bakkerij W. Wiltink and Top BV, was acquired by Grupo Bimbo for an undisclosed amount.

A 6% stake in Austria's Telekom Austria (WBO: TKA), a telecommunications provider based in Vienna, was acquired by América Móvil through a private placement.

An undisclosed stake in BioLets, operator of a biotechnology company dedicated to creating sustainable processes through the reproduction of micro- and macroalgae based in Monterrey, Nuevo León, owned by LabCap, was acquired by an undisclosed investor for an undisclosed amount.

Mexico's Mattilda, a developer of a digital platform designed to streamline the finances of parents and private schools based in Mexico City, closed a funding round of USD $19.00 million led by GSV Ventures. DILA Capital and FinTech Collective also participated in this round.

Mexico's BlinkTrip, an operator of a group-travel planning platform designed to simplify the process of planning and booking trips based in Mexico City, is in the process of closing a crowdfunding round of MXN $530,000.00 through Arkangeles. Pierpaolo Barbieri and Tomás González Ruiz have also participated in this round.

Mexico's MAC Hospitales, operator of a hospital chain serving individual clients based in Celaya, Guanajuato, closed a growth-equity financing round of MXN $3,000.00 million with General Atlantic.

Mexico's Pet's Table, operator of a subscription-based pet-food platform based in Tlalnepantla de Baz, Estado de México, closed a financing round of USD $2.50 million with undisclosed investors.

Mexico's Bright, a solar-energy subscription-service provider based in Mexico City, closed a financing round of USD $35.50 million led by Investment Fund For Developing Countries. First Round Capital, Y Combinator, Leonardo DiCaprio, Daniel Servitje and other undisclosed investors also participated in this round.

U.S.-based Electric Era, a battery manufacturer based in Seattle, closed a financing round of USD $16.24 million with undisclosed investors, reaching a pre-money valuation of USD $23.76 million.

Colombia's Somos Internet, an internet-services provider based in Medellín, closed a seed financing round of USD $13.40 million led by Daedalus Ventures, Nazca and Kaszek. Matías Muchnick, Pierpaolo Barbieri and Freddy Vega also participated in this round.

U.S.-based Onda, operator of an alcoholic-beverage brand based in Santa Mónica, closed a financing round of USD $4.74 million with Santatera Capital, Access Capital and other undisclosed investors, reaching a pre-money valuation of USD $38.00 million.

Colombia's Licify, a Bogotá-based developer of a procurement-management platform for construction companies, closed a seed funding round of USD $3.40 million led by Brick & Mortar Ventures and Accion. G2 Momentum Capital, Dash Fund and Columbia University also participated in this round.

Chile's Shinkansen, a Santiago-based financial-services provider, closed a seed funding round of USD $3.20 million led by ALLVP, reaching a pre-money valuation of USD $11.80 million. Salkantay Ventures, Chile Ventures and Pedro Pineda also participated in this round.

Peru's Nutri Co, a Lima-based producer of plant-based nutritional products, closed a seed funding round of USD $1.00 million led by Terraflos, MrPink VC and White Lions Vc. Artfo Holdings also participated in this round.

Brazil's Cellva, a São Paulo-based provider of cell-derived bioingredients, closed a funding round for an undisclosed amount with Mergus Ventures and Rumbo Ventures.

Spain's Woltea, a Valencia-based manufacturer of air-source heat pumps designed to reduce electricity consumption, closed a funding round for an undisclosed amount with Rumbo Ventures.
