Mexico's Minerales Críticos de México, a company focused on the development of strategic mineral projects based in Sonora, reached a definitive agreement to acquire Minera Alondra, the Mexican subsidiary of Canada's Mustang Minerals Limited focused on copper and gold porphyry. The transaction amount was USD $1.5 million.

Mexico's Fresnillo, a silver and gold producer based in Mexico City, acquired an approximately 5.0% stake in Sinda (NYSE: SIND), a mining-exploration company focused on silver and gold projects in Mexico, through a concurrent private placement with Sinda's initial public offering (IPO). The transaction amount was not disclosed.

An undisclosed investor reached a definitive agreement to acquire the Complejo Minero Piedras Verdes, a copper mining asset located in Sonora owned by Canada's Frontera Copper Corporation and Kupari Investments. The transaction amount was not disclosed.

Mexicana de Industrias y Marcas, a Mexico City-based company focused on the acquisition and development of consumer brands, acquired Argentina's San Ignacio, a producer of dairy products and ingredients for the food industry. The transaction amount was not disclosed.

Mexico's Diri Telecomunicaciones, a virtual mobile operator and connectivity-services provider based in Mexico City, acquired Newww, a Mexico City-based Mexican provider of mobile and wireless internet services. The transaction amount was not disclosed.

Poland's LiveKid, a developer of a management platform for early-childhood education centers, reached a definitive agreement to acquire Aldea, a Mexican developer of a management platform for daycare centers and kindergartens, based in Nuevo León. The transaction amount was not disclosed.

An undisclosed investor reached a definitive agreement to acquire Mexico's Viakem, a manufacturer of chemical specialties for the agrochemical industry, based in Nuevo León. The transaction amount was not disclosed.

Spain's Orbio AI, a developer of an artificial-intelligence platform to automate recruitment and talent-management processes, closed a venture capital funding round (Series A) in the amount of USD $21 million. The investment was led by Dawn Capital, with the participation of Mexican fund GP Compas, Enzo Ventures, Visionaries Club, Endeavor Catalyst, 2100 Ventures and Plus Partners VC.

Mexico's Lottus Education, a higher-education platform offering in-person and online programs, based in Mexico City, closed an equity funding round in the amount of MXN $200 million. The investment was made by BID Invest as part of a round led by Mexican fund Kans Capital.

Mexico's SPAKIO, an operator of a mini-storage and on-demand warehousing platform, based in Mexico City, closed a venture capital funding round (seed) in the amount of USD $3.3 million. Mexico's Welbe, a developer of a technology platform for comprehensive occupational-health management, based in Mexico City, closed a venture capital funding round in the amount of USD $1.5 million. The investment was made by Brazil's Cartão de TODOS, a benefits and health, wellness, and discount services platform for families.

Mexico's Conectamos, a developer of an artificial-intelligence-based operational-automation platform for logistics and business-process management, based in Jalisco, closed a venture capital funding round (seed) in the amount of USD $0.25 million. The investment was made by fund Latitud Ventures.

Chile's Kapso, a developer of an API platform and automation tools for social-media integration, closed a venture-capital funding round for an undisclosed amount. The investment was made by Latin American fund Latitud and Mexico's Semilla Ventures.

Mexico's Habvita, a provider of affordable housing-construction solutions and financing for low-income families, based in Jalisco, closed a venture-capital funding round for an undisclosed amount. The investment was made by Mexico's Impact Ventures PSM, based in Mexico City.

Mexico's ÉCHALE, a provider of social-housing solutions and construction services for low-income communities, based in Mexico City, closed a venture-capital funding round for an undisclosed amount. The investment was made by R.I.S.E Artisan Fund.

Mexico's Greenfluidics, a manufacturer of smart solar panels designed to improve the energy efficiency of buildings, based in the State of Mexico, joined the Summer 2026 Batch acceleration program of Plug and Play Tech Center, a U.S.-based innovation platform and venture-capital firm.

Mexico's Cemex (MEX: CEMEXCPO), a producer and marketer of cement, ready-mix concrete and construction materials, based in Nuevo León, completed a debt refinancing through international bonds in the amount of USD $1.5 billion.

Mexico's Baubap, developer of a digital microloan platform based in Mexico City, secured debt and mezzanine financing in the amount of MXN $400 million. The credit facilities were provided by BBVA Spark and SixPoint Capital.

Mexico's Digitt, a provider of digital credit-card refinancing and personal-loan services based in Jalisco, secured debt financing in the amount of USD $50 million. The credit facility was provided by Victory Park Capital Advisors.

Southern Copper (NYSE: SCCO), an integrated producer of copper and other minerals with operations in Mexico and Peru and a subsidiary of Grupo México (MEX: GMEXICOB), completed a debt financing through international bonds in the amount of USD $1.25 billion.

Mexico's MXO Management, an investment firm focused on middle-market companies based in Mexico City, reached a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in Amco Educación, a Mexican developer of educational platforms and solutions focused on English-language instruction based in Jalisco, through a leveraged buyout (LBO). Mexico's Sinda (NYSE: SIND), engaged in the exploration and development of silver, gold and other metals mining projects in Mexico, completed an initial public offering (IPO) on the New York Stock Exchange in the amount of approximately USD $213 million. The placement consisted of the issuance of 17.75 million shares at a price of USD $12.00 per share.
